The Garden Lodge is situated at the rear of the hotel, set back in our lovely gardens. It contains its own private conservatory and relaxing lounge, although our guests still have full access to all the facilities in the main hotel. The three newly refurbished rooms are all en-suite - Two rooms containing SuperKing beds which can be converted into twin beds, and one room with a small double suitable for short stays or single business guests.
The Garden Lodge can be sold per room for those guests who wish to have a quieter, more private stay or is the perfect retreat for family reunion groups, wedding parties, golf breaks, hens parties, Edinburgh city breaks and friends who wish to stay together.

Designed with romance in mind, our Four Poster rooms are our most popular and luxurious rooms. All offer elegant canopied four poster double beds complete with Jacuzzi spa bath ensuite, high ceilings and flat screen TVs. Perfect for any special occasion or a romantic weekend away.

Our stylish, more contemporary Executive rooms add a hint of modern sophistication to the hotel. Rooms feature your choice from either King or twin beds and are all equipped with Jacuzzi spa bath ensuites to ensure a truly relaxing stay. The rooms are located on our garden level and have easy access to the carpark for those guests with heavy luggage. Ideal for couples or discerning business guests.

Classic Double (Main Hotel)
Each room has been tastefully decorated to compliment the classical theme throughout the hotel. Configured with either double, twin or triple bedding. Three of these rooms are located on the top floor and have charming coomed ceilings, giving a cute and cosy feel. Please advise if you have difficulty with stairs as we have rooms on other levels of the hotel that may be more suitable. Clean, comfortable and much more character than a chain hotel, these rooms suit couples on a budget, single travellers or families.
Family Rooms
From our beautifully appointed Superior Green Tartan Family room to our smaller classic Family rooms, we comfortably cater for families. Our Superior Green Tartan room is our largest guest room featuring a lovely 4 poster double bed, large bay window, high ceilings and an ornate fireplace. Please contact us directly to discuss your families requirements and our discounted rates.
Please note, in keeping with the distinctive period style of the building, we do not have a lift. Please advise at time of booking if you have difficulty negotiating stairs as a few of our rooms are located up two flights.
You may check in to your room from 2pm on your day of arrival and have the convenience of checking out at 10.30am. If these times do not fit in with your schedule, please advise us and we will endeavour to accommodate your needs.
